Our Portfolio Companies

Ex’ovision

Our subsidiary Ex'ovision is involved in the development and commercialization of a new generation of video communication systems. The functional characteristics of the Ex'ovision videotelephony system are user-friendliness, high quality video and audio, but, most of all, EYE CONTACT. The system requires a transmission capacity of only half a megabit, up and one down to be precise. Ex'ovision expects that visual communication between people will become the "killer app" of broadband like email is for the traditional internet. One average Eye Catcher system in a business environment saves 20 tons of CO2 emissions and some 10.000 euro in travelcosts per year. Such a great win-win perfectly fits into our portfolio.
At Ex'tent, we are looking forward to a world in which you no longer need thousands of tons of steel to fly two kilos of brains to business meetings all across the globe.

Game Entertainment Europe

Hardly any need to repeat it: at Ex'tent we believe in an immaterial economy. Gaming is the ultimate example of a world in which you can purchase stuff that consists only of bits 'n bites; without any damage to the planet (if powered by green energy, of course)! Game Entertainment Europe (GEE) publishes online computer games that are played by huge numbers of people (also known as Massive Multiplayer Online Games). GEE is the service provider of the largest and most active online game communities in Europe. They also provide in-game events.
We love these guys for enabling thousands of people to participate in a truly immaterial economy; one that fulfills our society's desires in a less polluting way.

In’tent

In'tent is a communications company with an incredible sense for the identity and soul of their clients. They develop concepts, events and productions that help their customers to communicate in strong and effective ways. They have a great talent to organize truly in'spiring activities, parties and press events, based on the right communications advice. As you may have "read between the lines," Ex'tent is a great fan of this creative team!

Independent IP

Independent IP is the owner of FUGA, a smart system that makes the distribution of digitized music and other media a whole lot easier. FUGA is much like a marketplace; a network where partners ranging from record labels to local distributors and consumers can trade their digital merchandise. Ex'tent is focussed on stimulating the virtual economy (rather than material consumption). We believe that companies like Independent IP will play an important part in the economy of the future.

Infocaster

Infocaster is specialized in so-called "content-related RSS-services", which in human language means that they develop ways to easily share information. The bonus of this system is that it is not advertiser driven but peer controlled, so your own buddies decide what's hot, not agressive product pushers.
We love the work of Infocaster as they are providing news without wasting any paper. Infocaster has an inspiring view on the opportunities of the internet as well as the knowledge and skills to get projects done. The company is led by a young entrepreneur with an incredible combination of youthful enthusiasm and high professionalism. Need we say more?

TDC Lighthouse

TDC Lighthouse is a Dutch website builder with an excellent track record. Clients include Reed Elsevier, several Ministries of the Dutch Government, ING, Amsterdam Public Library and many others. At Ex'tent, we love paperless marketing and communication. TDC has for example built the website for "Postbus 51" (Dutch governmental information). An excellent proof of an effective communication without the use of even a toothpick amount of paper. Besides, TDC is one of our beloved neighbors in the Bosschuur.

The Lucky Bastards

Lucky Bastards are funny little creatures in a glass jar. Each character brings happiness in it's own way. Sicko, for example brings you health and Superman brings you super powers. The Lucky Bastards are a creation of Clien Wintzen and Rosa de Jong; two hyper-creatives who are part of our ex'tended family. Lucky Bastards are a fair trade product -of course. They are produced in Romania by Second Chance.
Are you curious where the Lucky Bastards live? Check out their residence @ theLuckyBastards.com.
