At the first Dutch environmental film festival the movie Home simply blew me away. It shows from a birds'-eye perspective how we, humans, are changing the earth in order to fulfill the growing needs of our population.

Now you can watch the movie on YouTube. Not quite as impressive as watching a theatre screen, but it will still give you an idea of the scale of our impact. If you can handle the dramatic voice-over then here you will find stunning images and facts, about the place which 9 billion people will call their home by 2050.
